Window Film is a micro-thin layer of polyester film combined with minute particles of metal, coated with a durable, optically-clear, scratch-resistant coating. It is professionaly installed as a retrofit product on clear or tinted glass. Most window films are 2 mil (0.0002") thick.
Window Tinting and Energy Savings
The sun's rays come to earth in wavelengths. These wavelengths range from infrared to visible light to ultra violet. Window film specifically targets infrared (heat causing rays) an UV rays, protecting your home or building while still allowing visible light to pass through the window.
